STEP 1
Gathering Content
Copy – Write out all content relating to your website. Organised into individual pages for each section of your new site on an MS Word Document.
Images – All images used to show your products or services. Organised into folders for each section of your new site, use original and stock photography.
Logos & Graphics – Your logo and additional graphics and/or illustrations to showcase your brand and/or accentuate your new website.
STEP 2
Layout & Styling
Layout – Decide on the number of website pages and structure, draw up a MS Word document using bullet points to visually show how your website will be structured. section of your new site on an MS Word Document.
Styling – Decide on all the visual elements of your new website, choose font types & primary colours. Take inspiration from website that you already like the look and feel of to incorporate into your new webiste design.
STEP 3
Development & Revision
Development – Give all information highlighted in steps 1 & 2 to your website developer. Make sure to explain how you see the final design and what you require as the final outcome.
Revision – Once your website is complete and before the final launch, your developer will allow you to review the website and suggest changes to the website. Use this time to check desktop, laptop and mobile design to ensure that it looks great across all devices.
